Planning
is a versatile and diverse professional field. Ranging from urban and regional planning
activities to environmentally sensitive planning at the local level to concerns of global
warming, PCAi has covered a lot of ground and intends to aggressively grow this service
area. We actively engage in planning
projects at different scales, developing a team and a planning strategy appropriate to the
needs of different projects. Our experience is exemplified by the range of projects we
have executed. These include master plans for large residential developments ranging
upwards of a 200 acres, campus planning for academic institutions, and reforestation
strategies and watershed planning at a local level in the Himalayas.
Using our diverse knowledge base and expertise, we
often bring together a combination of design, planning, and engineering skills to address
the project needs. The in-house expertise and resources in GIS and other IS technologies,
which are seamlessly integrated into our projects where needed, provide an additional
